Nothing beats the satisfaction of witnessing the final moments of a well-executed event. After all of the unseen tasks that went into creating a memorable event, I consider what laid the groundwork for the audience’s wonderful experience. It began with an audience that feels included in the moment rather than just witnessing it. Their involvement in the experience provides them with something to remember. It raises awareness of one’s greater potential and how to integrate their discovery with those around them.

After having so many great events in Toronto, Hideas has relocated to British Colombia and looks forward to delivering events to the good people of Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Vancouver and Lake Country. Check out Hideas for my latest events.

Past Events

Prior to the pandemic, I started planning smaller, more intimate events outside of large venue spaces. In 2018, I joined Artery, an event production platform, and began hosting events in my Toronto loft studio. Prior to all in-person events being cancelled due to lockdowns in 2020, Artery chose me to be their Event Ambassador, which allowed me to host events in other people’s spaces.

Team Building & Corporate Events

The Field Trip Program was given residence within the awe-inspiring 10,000 square foot space before the building was torn down for condo development. My corporate team building programme stripped away participants’ titles and seniority, introducing them to new forms of communication as they raced through Pursuit OCR’s obstacle course.

My love for muddy obstacle course races like Tough Mudder inspired the creation of The Field Trip Program, which took place inside a massive indoor obstacle course called Pursuit OCR.

All levels and abilities were accommodated so that everyone felt truly part of the programme. By the end of the event, the participants had a new understanding of their higher potential and how to apply their abilities in their position.

Youth Events And Programming

I had the pleasure of running my own summer camp programme at Pursuit OCR during the summer of 2017. Every day was jam-packed with creativity, physical activity, and games. Camp Pursuit OCR was also a hit with private and city camps throughout the GTA. Every day I welcomed busloads of kids that lined the street outside of Camp Pursuit.

Every week, the kids at Camp Pursuit produced a full-length feature video. Their new communication and production skills were put to the challenge with an end-of-week film screening. Check out their take on a classic. Star Wars.

Testimonial From Pursuit OCR

Wil Mclean - Owner of Pursuit OCR

Working with Victory Battle for our programming at Pursuit OCR has been a great experience from start to finish. Victory’s attentiveness is equalled only by the relentless energy he brings to everything he does. Victory was tasked with creating engaging programming for both our corporate field trip program and our kids summer camp. Given that both demographics couldn’t be more different, it was remarkable that Victory was able to create programs that were entertaining and educational for both but still spoke to the ethos of our facility. Not only did he ensure that every guest for both groups was provided with curated activities, he was also able to weave those activities into a larger cohesive experience for the group.

Coupled with his unique knowledge of fitness and Audio/visual expertise, he was also able to capture those experiences for each group so everyone had something to take away with them. The kids News portion of the kids camp programming was a highlight for all of them that I’m sure will be cherished. We will engage Victory’s services again in the future as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Support In The Fight Against Brest Cancer

Live Charity Broadcasting - 2017 Boobie Ball at Rebel Nightclub

The first ever broadcast of the 2018 Boobie Ball To Fight Breast Cancer went live without a hitch after a tumultuous afternoon of troubleshooting IP networks and problem solving audio / video channels. I co-hosted the entire hour-long broadcast with nearly a dozen guest speakers. As each guest speaker discussed their personal journeys, I managed the graphics and media files associated with each segment. Working under pressure seems to bring out the best in me.

Charity Event :- Dance On Cancer’s Grave - Relay For Life Team

Shortly after my dear friend Danielle passed from her long battle with breast cancer, I formed my first Relay For Life team in her honour. I created a campaign for our pledge drive called “Dance On Cancer’s Grave” using my passion for event planning and my social media skills. The idea was inspired by a series of dance videos performed by people who have been affected by or lost someone to cancer. Each video began with a brief cancer prevention tip, followed by a dance from one of our special guests.

Dancing On Cancer's Grave with Polly Lee

The pledge drive concluded with an event at Revival Nightclub featuring celebrity guests and performers. Our team was recognised as one of the top five pledge drive campaigns in the Greater Toronto Area. Not bad for our first time.

Special Event and Presentation

Toronto’s Union Station Pedestrian Terrace Launch

To commemorate the opening of the new Union Station Pedestrian Terrace, BaAM media commissioned me to host an hour-long programme on the TD stage several days a week. In order to drive traffic to my show, I also created media content for their social media accounts.

The theme was fitness and health. It had to be entertaining and informative in order to quickly capture an audience’s attention and create an experience. I drew volunteers from the captivated audience seated around a small table facing the event stage. One such demonstration, The One Minute Push Up, demonstrated that you could complete a difficult exercise using only your body weight… and one single rep.

Pop Up Gym Programming

Toronto’s most well-known private social club makes no concessions to their reputation. I was honoured to be asked to design a series of unique group fitness classes for their pop-up gym. Because this gym was only temporary, I’d have to make them exciting quickly. I created several Soho House exclusive group fitness programmes, including Varsity Allstars (HITT Cardio), Pause (Breath Work), and Prison Break, a strength training programme based on body weight resistance exercises commonly used in jail. These classes drew on my extensive experience instructing large group fitness classes, certifying new group instructors, and delivering fitness trends workshops to my colleagues.

Live Streaming Broadcasting

I’ve always been fascinated by new innovations and technology that make professional-level programming accessible to anyone willing to learn it. With each advancement in multimedia technology, there is a new cost reduction and a better approach to its execution. I am able to engage complex multimedia systems in my personal studio or on location to reach a larger audience.
